Montblanc Friedrich II

1999 - Limited Edition - 4,810 Pens



The rolled gold barrel features two finely crafted gold-plated bands decorated with a pattern of interlinking arches. The elegant clip and the ring on the top of the cap are also gold plated. The 18-carat gold nib displays superlative craftsmanship, and bears the engraved royal signature Fredericus Rex as a reference to the monarch after which it is named. The twist mechanism allows the nib to be withdrawn into the barrel of the pen. Another detail is the barrel end, which lifts up to allow a new cartridge to be fitted.

Condition: Medium nib; Carried in a leather case at all times, it is in excellent condition. It has been written with occasionally. Original box and accompanying papers are included.
